Are a Video Card and a Graphics card the same thing?

The reason i am asking this question is because I need a new Video Card to play Flight Simulator X.|||YES, there's another name for the card too : GPU (Graphic Processor Unit).|||You best bet for that game is the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GPU. It has directx 10 support. But if you really want a bang for your buck the upgrade to an SLI Mother and put 2 8800 in there. Sweeeetttt!!!|||yes
