Dose it matter witch slot I put my sli video card in on a Asus PT6 board?

I just got a new revo drive ssd pci hdd it covers part of one of my video card fans making it to run hot. can I switch the positions of the ssd an the second video card (run the ssd in the center slot)? will it cost me in performance|||Since you have an SLi video card, your video card requires using the PCI-E x16 or PCI-E 2.0 bus. Since you state that your revo drive requires a PCI slot, you are basically asking if you can put your video card in a PCI slot and your PCI revo drive in a PCI-E x16 slot.

PCI-E x16 and PCI are NOT backwards compatible with each other. So, you will not be able to do this at all.

I hope this helps!
