Should i buy a video card for editing and ANOTHER different card for gaming?

I'm looking into building a computer to edit HD Films and possibly gaming, I'm gonna get the Radeon HD 4890 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 card but i don't know if that will make the rendering and all that work easier on the PC, or if i have to buy another card. Can you point me in some direction please?|||Just get the 4890 and use it for both gaming and editing.|||If a card is great for video editing, it will be just as good at gaming.

in other words there is a direct co-relation in performance between film editing and gaming
